Download the Hearth app and sign in with Apple or Google. From there, Ember will guide you through a conversational onboarding where you share about yourself naturally, no forms to fill out. Just a warm conversation that helps her understand who you are and what you're looking for.

Ember is your AI dating companion built into Hearth. Chat with her anytime via text or voice to get dating advice, learn more about your matches, or reflect on what you're looking for. Ember remembers your conversations and uses what she learns to find better matches for you.

During onboarding, you can add up to 6 photos. Choose photos that show the real you, your smile, your interests, your personality. You can update your photos anytime in your profile settings.

On their profile or in your conversation, tap the safety options button and select Block, Report, or Unmatch. Reporting also blocks them and sends a report to our team. They won't be notified that you reported them.

Yes. Your conversations with Ember are private. She uses what you share to improve your matches, not to share with others, and you can control this in your privacy settings. Your personal information is protected and never sold. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.

Hearth requires ID verification for all users, and includes blocking and reporting tools accessible from any profile or conversation. Photos are screened for appropriateness. Our team reviews all reports within 24-48 hours.

Hearth uses AI to understand your personality and match you with compatible people, not just based on photos, but on values, communication style, and what you're genuinely looking for. Each day you'll receive matches selected just for you.

Quality matches take time. Make sure you've had meaningful conversations with Ember so she can learn what you're looking for. Matches appear once Ember has a clear picture of you. You can also adjust your distance and other preferences in Settings.

When you match with someone, Ember introduces you and you can message them directly. You'll also find conversation starters on their profile, personalized questions based on what you actually have in common.

Go to Settings in the app and tap "Delete Account" at the bottom. You'll need to confirm by typing DELETE. This permanently removes your profile, photos, matches, conversations, and all data. This action cannot be undone.

Hearth's core features, daily matches, chatting with Ember, and messaging your connections, are free. We're working on premium features to enhance your experience.

Yes. You can plan a date with Ember by yourself, or together with a match in a shared three-way chat. Ember can build a multi-stop plan with real venue search so the details are handled before you even meet.

Yes. Once you are matched with someone, you can ask Ember for help with a conversation at any time. Ember has context on both of your profiles and can help you think through what to say. It is always your choice to ask.
